Everybody Counts, the UK-based EdTech social enterprise delivering inclusive, AI-powered maths education, today announced it has raised £500,000 in the latest phase of its £1.9 million seed funding round. The investment, led by Fuel Ventures with support from industry angels, will accelerate the global rollout of its personalised learning platform designed to close the maths attainment gap for all learners.

Founded by international education leader Andy Ridgway and maths mastery expert Judy Hornigold, Everybody Counts is on a mission to make high-quality, inclusive maths learning available to every child—regardless of geography, language, or neurodiversity. The platform combines the proven Singapore Maths approach with adaptive AI, multilingual delivery, and embedded teacher training, offering a scalable solution to the global maths crisis.

The company has already secured over £4 million in B2G and B2B contracts in the past 12 months, including a major UK government procurement, and has forged partnerships with global development organisations including ChildFund Korea, Kampuchea Action to Promote Education (KAPE), and YPO. Its platform is now being deployed in multiple languages—including Khmer—with tailored teacher CPD (continuing professional development) delivered as part of its integrated offer.

Currently delivering a £500,000 innovation project funded in part by Innovate UK, the platform is focused on building tools to support neurodiverse learners using cognitive science, education psychology, and data analytics. Its accessibility features include dyslexic-friendly fonts, dyscalculia-sensitive interfaces, and diverse character representation to reflect the communities it serves.
